Celebrate Year Two of Production
& Women in the Arts

Come for great food, drinks, entertainment, and special guests!

Meganda Films
production company started two years ago from a lifelong love with the arts. As a two-women led company, we are striving to inspire change in the industry and bring our grassroots background to our work.
Our dream hatched out of the simple idea to create art on our own terms. Our mission is to shift the idea of the leading lady in films and challenge the unrealistic, and often un-relatable, Hollywood standard of femininity. Art has the power to influence the way we view the world, and at Meganda Films we aim to shake things upside down while inspiring growth in the industry. As a grassroots independent production company, Meganda Films have produced the short film Our Bedtime and the web-series BIG TURKEY to exceptionally positive responses in 2010 – 2011. This past year has shown to be exciting and busy for us as we completed BIG TURKEY, in production for our next short film At this Table, as well as begin the next stage in our first documentary The F-Word.

This year’s anniversary will bring actresses, producers, crew and supporters together to celebrate the accomplishments and work of women carving a space for ourselves in the industry. You’ll hear from guest speakers who will share their experiences of challenges and triumphs, preview upcoming work from Meganda Films and most importantly share a delicious meal with old and new friends. Tickets are $50 per person before November 30th and includes a full brunch and drinks. Make sure to get your tickets early as the price goes up to $60 on December 1st.

Thank you for your support of Meganda Films as we endeavor to bring art into our world.
We hope to see you there!
