A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to meet Ms. Ali Wong through the great Carolyn Tran. I recall our first conversation being mostly about ‘Poop’, regularity and irregularity with bowel movements, we became fast friends. Over the last couple of years I have been in awe of this rising star, and since her move to Los Angeles she has been making all the right moves to get everyone in Hollywood to notice her.
As many of my friends and family may know, I don’t watch much T.V. When I get a chance to catch some T.V time it’s usually at 2:00am, and I’m usually watching infomercials “I SO WANT A SHARK VAC” (Just saying), but the other night I was flipping the channels at 2:00am and caught an episode of Chelsea Lately to see Ali Wong on Chealsea’s roundtable! I was so excited to see her represent and do her thing!
If you haven’t seen any of Ali’s work, it’s about time you seek her out because this young talented comedian is blowing up. Ali most recently headlined at the Hollywood Improv and sold out her show at the SF Punchline. For more information on standup dates go to Ali’s Home page. Be sure to check her out and spread the word!
